Fuller (United States) - See all my reviews       I have a small yard; probably only a quarter acre. The price on this trimmer seems high until you know the facts. It is actually quite reasonably priced. This trimmer will work as a trimmer, edger, and blower; all without attachments. I've owned electric trimmers and cheap gas trimmers before. None of them even compare to this trimmer. This trimmer hits the grass and weeds and knocks it down first time! It is so powerful that you use the throttle as a throttle not an on-off switch like the electric and cheap gas trimmers. This trimmer is exceptionally quiet and smooth also. Additionally, even though it is only 9lbs (only 2 lbs heaver than the really cheap trimmers) it is one of the most powerful trimmers you can buy. As far as edging goes, I have never used a trimmer to edge before because it has been such a waste of time. However, with this trimmer, you flip it over on its side (on the side you can see the head. My initial reaction is..this thing has power! It started up right away and even though it is louder than the ECHO I had it was lighter and I don't mind the noise as long as it performs (after all, I ride a harley). My real reason for writing so soon is to commend Amazon.com for the excellent service in delivering the product. You said 2 days and it arrived in 2 day. Well done. Living on Hawaii Island, we don't always receive the best customer service online. The excuse is, "well you guys live out in the Pacific Ocean, what do you expect?". Now I can answer with a resounding "Amazon.com does it, why can't you". Well done, guys. There's plenty of power, and it starts with no issues. I do make sure that I winterize it by pouring out extra fuel and then running it dry. The only thing to be aware of is the trim line blade which needs to be sharpened often. Also, the throttle sometimes needs to be adjusted, and it's a very loud piece of equipment. Make sure you buy a large spool of trim line as you'll eat through it fast. Although I love this machine, if it ever breaks down on me, I'd have to look at a Stihl or Hitachi, since those two machines have great reps too.
